Hackney signwriter Brian Walker, now retired, is the subject for the latest Better Letters short film.

Last summer during my trip to London, I took filmmaker Irene Chirita with me to meet with retired Hackney signwriter Brian Walker. Sadly, Brian passed away in June, before we had finished our short film celebrating his life on the brush.

Following its premiere at Chats Palace, we are proud to present the first online screening of When Better Letters Met Brian Walker. Please join us at 18:00 London time on Friday, 17 October.

Tickets are free, but contributions towards the technical running costs of the event are appreciated from those that are able to do so.
