IOAFS in Italy and the Indian Ocean

Alice Mazzilli picked the back of her car in Italy for the special IOAFS sticker I got made for Letterheads 50, and Stéphanie Lebon takes delivery of the first ever copy of BLAG to make its way to Réunion in the Indian Ocean.

Now that I'm no longer on Instagram — my ‘socials’ are now here — I miss the posts and stories that people share when they receive the magazine. However, I got these two pictures via email showing how the IOAFS spirit of Issue 07 is making its way around the world. Thank you Alice and Stéphanie!

Belgian Sign Painters Film

Belgian Sign Painters by Astrid Dom / Delta, Oscar & Mike on YouTube.

Belgium has really embraced the recent sign painting revival, and this short film (also available in Dutch) introduces four of the people meeting the renewed demand for hand-painted work: Rob Van den Berghe, Painting Bear Sign Co.; Maarten Leenknecht, Letterknecht; Hans Geyens, Señor Color; and Jérémy Goffart, Miles Signs.

PS. I was lucky to meet them at Benelux Letterheads in 2023, before they were famous 😉.
