# Risen Through the Ranks: Colossal Media’s Supreme Janine

[The apprentice programme at Colossal Media](https://bl.ag/the-apprentice-colossal-style/) isn’t for the fainthearted but the rewards are a solid grounding in painting large-format mural signs, and everything that comes before putting brush to brick.

This year, the Brooklyn-based firm celebrated the first woman to progress from Apprentice to Expert Painter: Janine Taylor, aka [Supreme Janine](https://www.instagram.com/supremejanine/?ref=bl.ag).
